Proposed Decision: Riverside County Unlawfully Denied Union Access

An administrative law judge with the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) has issued a decision finding that the County of Riverside unlawfully denied SEIU Local 721 access at Riverside County Regional Medical Center. The County had denied SEIU access to designated bulletin boards and to RCRMC employees in non-work areas on non-work time, such as in breakrooms, locker rooms, teaching rooms, visitor waiting areas, and hallways connected to those places. The County has appealed the Proposed Decision to PERB, which has yet to issue a final decision.
