Manuel A. Boígues joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in 2006. Mr. Boígues represents labor unions and workers, with a focus on private-sector labor law.
Mr. Boígues practices before the National Labor Relations Board on a broad variety of client matters. This encompasses affirmative and defensive litigation over alleged unfair labor practices and election petitions and challenges. Mr. Boígues also represents unions in court litigation, collective bargaining, and labor arbitrations.
Mr. Boígues obtained his undergraduate degree in accounting, graduating magna cum laude from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. He thereafter earned his juris doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Boígues served as the administrative editor of the Elder Law Journal, worked as a teaching assistant, and won the Best Oral Argument award in the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition.
