Linda Baldwin Jones, a shareholder with Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld, has over 25 years of experience in the area of ERISA and employee benefits.
Ms. Jones has extensive litigation and arbitration experience with ERISA, trust fund collection, benefit denial, refund, withdrawal liability and trust fund insurance issues, and has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on several occasions. Ms. Jones represents and counsels several Taft-Hartley employee benefit funds, which provide pension, annuity, health and welfare, apprenticeship and training and other collectively bargained benefits across various industries. She also represents and counsels employee benefit plans on a variety of issues, including ERISA compliance, fiduciary responsibility and tax matters.
Ms. Jones earned her juris doctor in 1995 from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she was a member of Law Review. Prior to law school, Ms. Jones worked in the pension fund department of a major telecommunications company in Connecticut. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Iona College in New York.
