Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld provides general counsel and compliance advice to apprenticeship and training programs in dozens of industries. Through these programs, unions provide free career training opportunities to qualified individuals on a nondiscriminatory basis and a valuable skilled workforce to employers.

We assist apprenticeship and training programs with a wide range of legal services relating to their operations, including assistance with real estate transactions and land use applications.

We have represented union apprenticeship programs before the State of California’s California Apprenticeship Council. We have challenged and shut down inadequate apprenticeship programs developed by nonunion employer organizations as schemes to underpay younger workers while enrolling them in programs that produce no graduates or otherwise fail to meet minimum standards.
