Joseph (Joey) Adamiak joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in 2021 as an associate in the Los Angeles office. Mr. Adamiak’s practice centers on representing public- and private- sector unions and their members as well as union employee benefit plans in state and federal litigation, arbitrations, and administrative hearings, including before the California Public Employment Relations Board and the National Labor Relations Board.
Mr. Adamiak earned his B.A. in English Education from California State University, Long Beach in 2017 and his J.D. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2021. While at UNLV Law, he worked as a Peggy Browning Fund Fellow at the Arriba Las Vegas Worker Center and clerked with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) as well as with a small wage-and-hour firm and a union-side labor firm. Mr. Adamiak served as executive editor of the Nevada Law Journal from 2020-2021. During law school, Mr. Adamiak also co-founded the Workplace Law Club.
Mr. Adamiak was raised in a union household, and is inspired by his family, including his father, who was a long-time shop steward with the Brotherhood of Teamsters. Mr. Adamiak seeks to dedicate his legal career to helping working people live free from fear of exploitation.
