Gary Provencher
Gary Provencher is a shareholder in the firm’s Sacramento office, where he represents both public- and private- sector unions and their members on a wide variety of issues, including free-speech issues, union organizing, disciplinary matters, contract interpretation, and race, age, gender and disability discrimination.
Mr. Provencher has presented cases in numerous forums, including federal and state courts, arbitrations, the California State Personnel Board, the California Public Employment Relations Board, and other administrative forums. Mr. Provencher also advises unions on numerous labor-management issues and has experience acting as a parliamentarian for union boards of directors.
Mr. Provencher received his undergraduate degree with High Honors in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and his law degree from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law, where he was awarded the Ohio State Bar Association Labor and Employment Section Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law.
Mr. Provencher is licensed to practice law in California.
