Max Sinclair joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in 2023 as an associate in the Sacramento office. Mr. Sinclair’s practice centers on representing public and private sector unions in a variety of labor law matters, including wage and hour litigation and representation in unfair labor practice proceedings before the California Public Employment Relations Board (PERB).

Mr. Sinclair previously practiced probate and small business law in Humboldt County.  While attending UCLA School of Law, Mr. Sinclair worked as a legal extern with UNITE HERE Local 11, where he helped the Union’s bargaining unit fight to obtain safety protections for essential workers during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. Sinclair previously worked as a Legal Advocate at the Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center, where he helped working families to navigate the Special Education system. As a legal advocate, Mr. Sinclair represented clients in negotiations and mediation hearings and held school districts accountable by preparing and filing a variety of non-compliance and civil rights claims.

Mr. Sinclair received his undergraduate degree in 2018 from Loyola Marymount University and his juris doctor in 2021 from UCLA School of Law, where he researched sectoral bargaining and the potential expansion of labor organization into the gig economy.

Mr. Sinclair is licensed to practice law in California.
