Alexander Nazarov joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in 2017. His practice focuses on litigating wage and hour class actions, harassment and discrimination actions and traditional mandamus actions. Mr. Nazarov’s handles matters at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal court.
In addition to litigating on behalf of harmed workers, Mr. Nazarov represents unions in administrative hearings. He also advises union staff and member leaders on a litany of labor law topics.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Nazarov worked as a criminal defense attorney, specializing in appeals and habeas corpus matters for clients on death row or serving life sentences.
Mr. Nazarov graduated cum laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2014. While in law school, he regularly volunteered at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, representing criminal defendants during suppression hearings and preliminary hearings under the supervision of deputy public defenders.
Mr. Nazarov has native proficiency in Russian.
He is licensed to practice law in California.
