Ailyn Gonzalez joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in 2022 as an associate in the Emeryville office. Ms. Gonzalez’s practice centers on representing public and private sector unions in a variety of labor law matters, including representation in unfair labor practice proceedings before the California Public Employment Relations Board (PERB).
While attending UCLA School of Law, Ms. Gonzalez worked as a legal extern with a labor union assisting in-house counsel and union organizers in various private-sector organizing campaigns. Ms. Gonzalez was an Employee Justice Summer Clerk with the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) and clerked with a plaintiff-side employment law firm where she helped litigate individual discrimination and wage and hour class action claims on behalf of workers. Ms. Gonzalez also supported workers seeking to enforce their workplace rights though her participation in UCLA’s Race, Work and Economic Justice Clinic.
Ms. Gonzalez received her undergraduate degree in 2019 from Northwestern University and her juris doctor in 2022 from UCLA School of Law, where she graduated with a specialization in Critical Race Theory.
Ms. Gonzalez speaks Spanish fluently.
