Katharine R. McDonagh joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in 2018 as an associate in the Emeryville office.  She earned her B.A. in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2011 and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2018.

While at Hastings, Ms. McDonagh served as the Executive Production Editor of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly, advised indigent workers under the supervision of attorneys from Legal Aid at Work through the Workers’ Rights Clinic, and worked as a clerk at Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld.

Ms. McDonagh is licensed to practice law in California. Her work includes representing public and private sector unions, and the employees they represent, in arbitrations, administrative hearings, including before the Public Employment Relations Board (“PERB”), in state and federal courts, and by providing advice on labor and employment matters.   

Ms. McDonagh co-authored the fourth edition of the Pocket Guide to the Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act, published by California Public Employee Relations, Institute for Research on Labor and Employment, University of California, Berkeley.
