Alameda Office Attorney Position

Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld ("WRR") seeks a tough, dynamic, creative and resilient lawyer dedicated to representing workers and their institutions.  We have an opening for a litigation attorney for our Alameda, California office. WRR is known for its advocacy on behalf of unions and working people and seeks an Associate to work on traditional labor and litigation matters. Applicants must be detail-oriented and possess exemplary research, writing, and analytical skills.  Applicants must be admitted to the California Bar or awaiting bar exam results. Duties include Union representation at arbitration, and all stages of litigation including drafting briefs, conducting discovery, including document collection and review, and preparing for trial. This position offers opportunities for significant case-handling responsibilities and direct client interaction, as well as a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Judicial Clerkship experience is a plus. Los Angeles Office Attorney Position

Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld ("WRR"), a union-side labor law and employee benefits law firm with offices in Honolulu, Los Angeles, Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area, seeks an attorney with relevant experience for its Los Angeles, California office. WRR is well-known for its zealous advocacy on behalf of unions and working people and seeks an Associate to work on traditional labor and litigation matters. Applicants should have one (1) to five (5) years of experience, must be detail-oriented and possess exemplary research, writing and analytical skills. Duties include advocating at NLRB and PERB proceedings, union representation at arbitration, and all stages of litigation including writing briefs, drafting motions, engaging in discovery, document collection & review, and preparing for trial. This position offers opportunities for significant case-handling responsibilities and direct client interaction, as well as a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Admission to the California bar is required. Fluency in Spanish, admission to the Nevada bar and Judicial Clerkship experience are a plus. Honolulu Office Attorney Position

The Honolulu, Hawaii office of Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld (“WRR”), a union-side labor law and employee benefits law firm with offices in Honolulu, Los Angeles, Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area, seeks an attorney with relevant experience.  WRR is well-known for its zealous advocacy on behalf of unions, employee benefit trust funds and working people and seeks an Associate to work on traditional labor, ERISA and litigation matters.  Applicants should have three (3) to eight (8) years of experience, must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess exemplary research, writing and analytical skills.  Duties include all stages of litigation including preparing demands, negotiation, writing briefs, drafting motions, engaging in discovery, document collection & review, preparing for trial, union representation at arbitration, and advocating at NLRB proceedings. This position offers opportunities for significant case-handling responsibilities and direct client interaction, as well as a competitive salary and excellent benefits.  Admission to the Hawaii bar is preferred. Competence in U.S. District Court, District of Hawaii’s CM/ECF e-filing system and the State of Hawaii, JEFS Electronic Filing system, Taft-Hartley trust fund experience and admission to the Nevada bar are a plus.
