Tiffany Crain Altamirano joined Weinberg Roger and Rosenfeld in 2016. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Peace Studies from Chapman University and her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
Ms. Crain Altamirano practices primarily before the Public Employment Relations Board and handles labor and employment arbitrations. Her practice also includes advising, providing trainings to, and handling litigation matters of unions and labor organizations.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Crain Altamirano worked at the Law Offices of Jacqueline Brown Scott, a boutique immigration law firm in San Francisco. During law school she worked at Legal Aid at Work (formerly the Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center) in the Wage Protection Program as a summer law clerk and as a clinic counselor at the worker’s rights clinic. She also worked as a law clerk at the Immigrant Legal Resource Center and volunteer at California Rural Legal Assistance Salinas and Dolores Street Community Services’ Immigration clinic.
Prior to law school Ms. Crain Altamirano was the Co-Executive Director of Young Workers United, a worker’s rights organization in San Francisco. She also worked as a community organizer at Congregations Organizing for Renewal (COR), a faith-based community organization in Southern-Alameda County.
