Carlos Almendárez joined Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in 2017 as an Associate in the Los Angeles office. His practice includes: labor and employment matters, wage and hour litigation, as well as advising and providing trainings to Unions.

Prior to joining the firm, Carlos served as a legal extern for the Honorable Harry Pregerson on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and as a full-time legal extern at the National Labor Relations Board, Region 21 in Los Angeles.

At UCLA School of Law, Carlos was President of the Class of 2017 and a member of the Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy. He was the Executive Editor of the Chicana/o-Latina/o Law Review, Co-chair of the Workers’ Rights Project at Bet Tzedek Legal Services, a member of the La Raza Law Students Association, and part of the Workers’ Rights Litigation Clinic.

Carlos was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and proudly attended public schools from kindergarten through law school. In his free time, Carlos enjoys soccer, mountain & road biking, and triathlons.

Carlos is fluent in Spanish.
